Friday Night Lights in Mocksville will feature some of the top 8u teams in the state.  The tournament will be in divided into two divisions.

The Carolina Rockies, currently ranked #1 in 8u by NCRankings.com will face the Carolina Bulldogs 8u Ross.  The Bulldogs are ranked #7 in the state so that will be a game to watch.

The Bulldogs will then face NWNC Elite 8u York.  NWNC Elite is unbeaten and ranked #2 in NC.  This will be interesting to see if NWNC Elite can handle the Bulldogs and show why they are #2 in the state.

Under the lights in Mocksville, we will get to see the top two teams in the state of NC battle it out!

#1 Carolina Rockies vs #2  NWNC Elite 8u York

This matchup will carry a ton of weight in determining who is the #1 8u team in North Carolina for the foreseeable future!

The tournament will also feature Cool Springs, Equip, P413 and Dash City in the other division.

This will be Dash City’s first tournament of the year so it is an opportunity for them to leap up in the North Carolina 8u rankings.
