wrong guy. we actually met 2 falls ago at Davie when we played in your tournament. So Rockies asked to avoid MARA in pool play even though MARA wasn’t even in the tournament? Same Rockies team that requested MARA and SBA in pool play last time in USSSA Charlotte and people said they were crazy? Makes sense. When will SBA and MARA go anywhere outside Charlotte to play? I know for a fact you’ve spoken poorly about Rockies, SBA, MARA, Area Stars, NWNC, Sandhills Select and us. Do better.
Jeff Zimmerman definitely hates the Rockies because of SWAT. As an opposing coach, I can tell you nobody really puts stock into this guy and the Rockies are legit. Them cats only lost like 3 games on age in 2 years. He doesn’t see hardly any of these teams play and is making a bad attempt to make money on the backs of 8,9 and 10 year olds even though none of the really good teams will have anything to do with him. us coaches talk and it’s the same story. He posts nonsense above to try and justify him hitting his head underneath the desk at SBA. Rockies are definitely scared of MARA and SBA. After winning 4-3 and 13-1 against SBA, and then 12-4, 14-3 and 17-5 against MARA, it makes total sense, only to Jeff Zimmerman.Area Stars Zach is the best 10U team in the Southeast, hands down. I do think that Salem Select 10U flies under the radar a bit. They are the new kid on the block but playing high quality competition and having a lot of success. They are certainly a top 5 team in the state in 10U from what we’ve seen. Athletes Lab Moser 10U is also very good and underrated. The Carolina Rockies 9U Black team is also from our area, and I can tell you with certainty that they are the best 9U team in the state. From the scores online, the Rockies proved it this weekend beating SBA Futures twice and MARA. They are arguably the best 9U team in the southeast and comparable to Area Stars Zach on age I think. I saw SBA 12U play over the weekend on an adjacent field this weekend and they are as good of a 12U team as I’ve seen anywhere.
