As always, we are preparing for a busy weekend of baseball.
Looking over some of the tournaments, Southwest Athletics in Clemmons is hosting an 8u tournament that will have huge implications on our 8U rankings.
It appears this tournament will be divided up into two divisions….American and National.
The American division is where many of the top teams will do battle. I commend the tournament director for putting the best teams together which should lead to some top notch competition.
5 out of the top 12 teams in our latest rankings will be playing in the American division!

This provides opportunity for teams like Dash City, Sandhills Select, DBC 2032 Casale, Dirtbags Camo to see if they have what it takes to knock off the top dog, Carolina Rockies 8u Black.
Will the Rockies show why they are ranked #1 or will a new team take over the throne?
